DENIM
This product is made from 100% organically grown cotton.
Organically grown cotton supports farming systems that are better for both human and environmental health by eliminating the use of GMO-seeds, pesticides, and synthetic fertilizers. The benefits of using organic cotton are many, including improved soil health and fertility, improved biodiversity, decreased resource depletion, and improved health of farmers. GOTS-certified fabrics not only ensure greater standards during raw material production but during the manufacturing process, too, in their reduction and exclusion of hazardous chemicals.
While organic cotton is a better alternative to conventional cotton, we recognise that it still places a high water and land-use demand on our planet. We are committed to improving our sourcing practices to lessen our materials demand and to seeking alternative farming practices, such as regenerative farming.
The Eco light wash of this denim is the most advanced and eco-efficient ozone technology in the textile industry. Using air from the atmosphere, it generates ozone to treat garments by reacting with the denim dyes, giving them the real look of outdoor usage, achieving significant savings of water and chemicals.
Monogram print is obtained with Laser technology, which acts as a thermal source that eliminates the indigo dye of denim fabrics by sublimation, which means evaporating indigo from solid to gaseous form through heat. Laser has transformed the jeans industry eliminating the harmful processes for workers and reducing the environmental impact of denim dyeing processes.

garment care
Follow the care instructions below to get the most out of your piece.
Join us in revolutionising laundry practices by checking out clevercare to learn how to reduce climate impact while caring for your favourite Nanushka items.
Machine wash warm (30°)
Wash your item at a lower temperature, not only to preserve the fabric for longer, but to save energy, too.
The permanent press setting washes your clothes in a way that minimizes wrinkling.
Try to be mindful of the quantity of detergent used. More detergent does not mean cleaner garments, but can actually cause more damage to water streams and the environment.
Do not bleach.
To maintain the quality of your item, do not use any bleach.
Look out for the symbol on the care label to know what type of bleach - if any - you can use on your garments.
To avoid shrinking, do not tumble dry.
By hang drying your laundry soon after washing, you can save energy, minimize creasing and your clothes will stay in shape and last longer.
Iron at a medium heat (150°).
Ironing uses up to one fifth of the entire energy in the average laundry process. Hang dry your item soon after washing to speed up the ironing process and save energy.
Do not dry clean.
Dry cleaning is not necessary. Wash your item with similar colors instead.
